This master plan for an historic estate dealt with the delicate concerns of a historically significant site and a physically handicapped owner. The design included new guest quarters, well house, and 3-car carport as well as the renovation of an existing carriage house around a central courtyard. Integrated into the design were an existing main house, a historic walking path and "Signal Oak", a historically significant tree. A prominent new landscape feature, a series of ponds flowing from the well house to the existing spring fed pond, was designed to integrate and enliven the courtyard and link the entire compound together.
