The owner of this project wants to create a low energy footprint home that seamlessly integrates with the beautifully landscaped grounds. The exterior of the entire house (existing and new) will be renovated/constructed of polished C.M.U.s (concrete masonry units) in the style of a Mayan temple with rectilinear lines and carved open stone friezes. Interior finishes will correspond to the exterior creating an open and airy home, connected to the surrounding nature.
